How the Awards are Selected

Nomination

The Awards will be open to public for nominations whose achievements deserve to be honored and have demonstrated the best IR practices for others to learn from.

Entry Cost

Nominees are required to confirm their participation in the Awards and pay an entry fee of HK$1,500 per company. The entry fee covers the administration cost of participation in maximum of three (3) nominated award categories. For participation in any additional nominated award categories, an administration fee of HK$500 is required for each category. The entry fee will be waived for HKIRA members (with valid membership as of 1 April 2017).

Online Voting

After confirmation of the nominee’s participation, the nominated individuals and companies will enter into an online survey. Domestic and international investment community including buy side and sell side analysts, and fund managers are eligible to participate in the online survey and vote on their choices of the Awards. Voters are expected to cast their top 3 choices for each award category.

Selection by Judging Panel

Top award finalists in each of the award categories will enter into the selection process for the Most Progress in IR and the Overall Best IR Company Awards. Esteemed professionals have been carefully selected as members of the Judging Panel for the HKIRA Investor Relations Awards to ensure a fair and balanced evaluation and selection of award winners.
