Having earned his market recognition as a real estate market expert, Mr. Cheung has extensive experience and successful track records in a number of financial industry segments, including listed real estate investment trusts (REITs), mutual funds, hedge funds, real estate and private equity funds, securities, investment banking, commercial banking and certified public accountants. Major achievements include successful Hong Kong Main Board listing under difficult market sentiment; setup of the Asia Pacific (including Japan and Australia) investment platform for the largest US real estate securities fund house in Hong Kong and persistent fund outperformance against benchmark and peers; the first Hong Kong listed REIT, under his leadership, successfully acquired attractive real estate asset in the competitive western real estate market. Over the past two years, Mr. Cheung has reviewed over 600 real estate assets globally.

Mr. Cheung is currently the Chief Executive Officer of New Century Asset Management Limited, the manager of New Century REIT (HK stock code 1275.HK) and an independent non-executive director of Springland International Holdings Limited (HK stock code 1700) and Best Pacific International Holdings Limited (HK stock code 2111). He had also worked at DBS Vickers, Cohen & Steers, HSBC Securities, Donaldson Lufkin & Jenrette, Salomon Smith Barney, Citibank and Arthur Andersen & Co. Mr. Cheung was awarded the Outstanding Chinese Business Award by HongQi and China Report in 2010 and published a book titled "樓市10大周期掌勢" ("To profit from the experience learned from the past 10 real estate cycles") in 2012.
