Outline:

Mr. Alan LOK, CFA, Director of Capital Markets Policy, CFA Institute, will first present his latest observation on unusual market activities, effectiveness of regulatory intervention in addressing such activities and in improving market integrity, and the ultimate impact on investors. He will then moderate a panel discussion featuring industry practitioners to discuss on:
(1) Under what circumstances should listed company announcements be made and by whom?
(2) What are the actual implications to companies and investors?
