Outline: According to a report from JP Morgan, Quantitative investing based on computer formulas and trading by machines directly are now dominating the US equity market. It is estimated that “fundamental discretionary traders" account for only about 10% of trading volume in US stocks, while passive and quantitative investing accounts for about 60%. This trend along with the emergence of artificial intelligence might just become the future for the Asian markets including that in Hong Kong.

HKIRA is delighted to hold a panel discussion with experts in quantitative investing to share their insights on:
  • The migration from human to machine decision: Algo trading; AI Investment
  • Highlight of the quantitative investing and AI technologies behind the trading mechanism and their impact to the market and the investment industry
  • How the IR profession should prepare for this paradigm shift
