| Outline: | 2017 marks the 20th anniversary of the return of Hong Kong to our Motherland and the establishment of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR). Since 1997, Hong Kong and China have maintained a close relationship with each other and achieved synergy in different economic aspect. Following the footsteps of Shanghai-Hong Kong Stock Connect, as well as the Mainland-Hong Kong mutual recognition of funds arrangement, Shenzhen-Hong Kong Stock Connect is another milestone in deepening mutual access between the capital markets in Hong Kong and the Mainland. In this year, the launch of Bond Connect will provide a cross-border platform that facilitates the efficient trading by overseas institutional investors in the Mainland bond market. Hong Kong will become the key offshore capital-raising centre for Chinese enterprises and the largest source of external investment to China. "Listed Enterprises of the Year 2017" aims at introducing listed company with excellent performance to public and most importantly, to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the return of Hong Kong to our Motherland and recognize the contribution of those company. |
